Android Auto Tips

How to get Youtube and other video steaming services on Android Auto... (Not working on latest Android12)
Firstly, you're going to need to have access to Android Auto in your vehicle.
All you need to do is download the AA Store apk file HERE.

Once downloaded, it should appear something like this.
Download Cartube to have access to Youtube Videos. Make sure to open Cartube on your phone and setup your account.

To get Amazon Prime Video to work, download one of the Custom Apps 1-10
Once you download one, you should be able to open it from your home screen on your device. Picture below.

Click where it says "Click here to insert or select the URL of the website you want to convert to a Android Auto app"

This should then bring you to here

Put this amazon url into there and you are done.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amazon-Video/b?ie=UTF8&node=3010085031

Remember that this feature turns a website into a accessible app on Android Auto. If you're trying to use this for websites that don't offer webpage streaming, this probably wont work.
** WARNING** Please be aware that watching videos whilst the vehicle is in motion is against the law in the UK and we advise not to. Do so are your own risk. We do not condone the use of Video in motion. We (Yorkshire VAG Solutions) urge people to use this feature stationary.
